Founder & President

After graduating from Texas Christian University, he sprouted roots for his career within the O&G sector, and gained experience in the industry by working at Premier Pipe and CRA. His time in the pipe business has taken him around the world—from Dubai to Australia to Indonesia. Zack prides himself and THI as the experts for hard-to-find, nontraditional OCTG string designs, and he focuses on building strong and trustworthy relationships with his team, customers and suppliers.

Brent Talley
Vice President

Brent drives strategic partnerships and client growth for the company. He plays a key role in building and retaining THI’s reputation as “The Surplus Pipe Company.’ Prior to THI, Brent worked at Premier Pipe, where he handled commercial and operational aspects of their tubular distribution business, focusing on the Gulf of Mexico. He holds an MBA from Northeastern State University and a Bachelor's in Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Rudy Symczak
Purchasing Manager

Rudy holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of Houston. Over the past five years, Rudy has built robust connections and focused on the purchasing side of our business, with 10 years of dedication to the industry. While he specializes within the GOM and other offshore initiatives, Rudy is a well rounded and adaptive team member when it comes to new, global opportunities that lie ahead.

Matt Shaw
Business Development

Matt has gained extensive experience in the oil and gas and OCTG industries over the last decade. As a key driver for our company's business development, Matt has made incredible strides in growing THI's presence within the GOM and other offshore heavy sectors. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University
